Harvest Date: Ribera del Guardiana harvests on average one month earlier than in the rest of Spain, harvest usually starts at the end of August.
Yield: Low yields and strict fruit selection in the cellar.


This is a blend of 40% Tempranillo, 30% Garnacha and 30% Syrah.
Ensemblaje is a selection of the best crop from Alange, slow temperature controlled maceration and matured in new French oak barrels for four months.
Each vineyard is cultivated individually, harvested at full maturity the grapes go through a strict selection process for this special bottling.
The wood maturation lends an aromatic nose of spiced fruits and toast.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Dark intense cherry color.
Nose: Fruity aromas well integrated with slightly smoked notes of French oak.
Palate: In the mouth it is bold and expressive with a long finish. The notes of oak balance nicely with the mature fruit.
Other: It is a perfect match with grilled steak, a rich pasta dish or even seared tuna marinated in soy sauce.
