Six Principles expressing the core Philosophy of Six Hats; 'Partnership, Potential, Change, Equity, Dignity & Sustainability'.
Six Hats seeks to produce wines that will contribute to the lives of the people whose hard work is expressed in each bottle. There are minimum prices set for grapes and an additional percentage of the sales are given back to the community who uses the money to build schools, clinics and other projects to improve their lives.
Six Hats is a registered Fairtrade producer and purchasing a bottle of 6 Hats Fairtrade wine will help improve the livelihood of the FairTrade farmers.

Grapes are handpicked early in the morning allowing the fruit to retain their natural flavor. Only the free run juice is used, allowed to settle and inoculated with selected yeast strains, fermented under controlled conditions at 12°Centigrade.
Bentonite, a natural clay, is then added for fining after which the wine is filtered. The wine is then cold stabilized at 4°Centigrade for 7 days.
