Vineyard: Kremstal, Rohrendorf on the east side of the Danube in Lower Austria, from a number of vineyards located on the “Neubruch” plateau.
Soil Type: Loess, sandy, clay and some gravel.

Vinification:

The Zweigelt grape varietal was created by Dr. Fritz Zweigelt in 1922 and is a cross between St. Laurent and Blaufrankish. It is the most planted red variety in Austria covering 14% of the total vineyards' surface.
This is a cuvee made from a selection of vineyards located on a plateau called Neubruch.
Harvested by hand, three weeks long maceration and fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Light garnet.
Nose: Ripe cherries and red berries, earthy.
Palate: It is rich in fruits with round tannins and a pleasant finish.
Other: Red meat, spicy dishes, will also pair well with pizza or pasta.
