The Wolfsgraben vineyard, the Wolf’s Den, is located in a scenic area and has a long history. On a high plateau, the vineyard is a planted against the slope of a deep depression, a bowl.
Archives from 1284 describe this vineyard as being located against a slope, with a rich loamy soil, growing thriving vines and fruits producing exceptional wines.
Picked at optimum ripeness the grapes are then macerated over 12 hours and vinified in temperature controlled stainless steal tanks.
The wine was bottled in June 2009 and left to mature in the bottle before release.
