Vinification:

The Gebling vineyard is mainly planted on terraces; it is on a steep slope located north of Rohrendorf reaching towards Krems. The soil is one of the highest loess sediments in Europe, the origin of the name 'Gebling' is thought to mean 'yellowish', referring to the soil color.
The grapes were harvested by hand in mid-November, the juice was fermented at 17º centigrade in stainless steel tanks and bottled on the 2nd of April 2011.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Medium green yellow.
Nose: Hints of flint, with some fine honey, delicate herb spice and tangerine peel.
Palate: Rich body, ripe white fruits such as white peach, the acidity is well integrated and it has a good structure, with a long mineral finish.
Other: A rich well balanced Riesling, with a lot of minerality and ideal to pair with any spicy dish.
