Vinification:

The Gebling vineyard is mainly planted on terraces; it is on a steep slope located north of Rohrendorf reaching towards Krems. The soil is one of the highest loess sediments in Europe, the origin of the name 'Gebling' is thought to mean 'yellowish', referring to the soil color.
The grapes were harvested by hand in mid-October, the juice was fermented at 17º centigrade in stainless steel tanks and bottled in February 2010.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Light, almost translucent.
Nose: Slightly perfumed on the nose with delicate hints of herbs and pepper, peaches and citrus fruits with minerals.
Palate: A little residual sugar on the palate with some notes of apricots and peaches, with aeration it is firmer and brighter with a well integrated acidity, a slightly rustic style, long mineral finish.
Other: A rich well balanced Riesling rich with minerality that is ideal to pair with any spicy dish.
