Viticulture

Vineyard:
Soil Type: Mostly calcareous and chalky.
Vine Age: Average 20 years old.
Irrigation: No irrigation
Harvest Date: Second week of September 2009(Grenache) first days of October (Carignan) .
Yield: 5 to 6 t/ha.

Vinification:

This wine has been made using traditional fermentation with indigenous yeast. The must is left for 10 hours on the skins, pressed and fermented at low temperature between 14º and 16º Centigrade.
It is a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Carignan.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Medium pink.
Nose: Ripe fruity aroma with some raspberry, cherries and floral notes and minerals.
Palate: In the mouth it is dry, balanced and fresh with good acidity. It is concentrated and fruity.
Other: It is a versatile wine that may be enjoyed on its own or with any summery dishes.
