Les Sorts Jove is a blend of 10% Garnacha, 40% Cariñena and 50% Tempranillo. This wine has been made using traditional fermentation (with the grape's own yeast).

Today the Cooperative uses two main methods of vinification. Traditional fermentation begins when the bunches are destemmed at the winery. Alternatively, the bunches may be kept in tanks to permit them to undergo carbonic maceration before pressing. The other method used is a low-temperature fermentation.
The Falset zone is very hilly and has a cold climate.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Clear and intense color, with a hint of blue and purple color in the border, showing the body in the wine.
Nose: Fresh red and black aroma with flowery hints (violets). A very intense after smell in which the red fruit aromas come back.
Palate: Initial fresh taste expressing the fruit in the wine with a growing and final tannic evolution in which the typical licorice memories of the wines of carbonic maceration persist.
