2005 Grenache Blanc


Soil Type: Soil is formed by the decomposition of the granite mass of Falset, mixed with tertiary age limestone deposits.
Vine Age: 50-80 years old.
Irrigation: No irrigation
Harvest Date: 9th September 2005.
Yield: 2 to 2.5 t/ha


This wine is 100% White Grenache. These grapes were selected from the oldest vineyards where some vines are 82 years old. Fermentation started in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and continued under temperature control in oak barrels.
The wine was aged for six months in 25% American and 75% French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Clear and intense light golden color.
Nose: Intense green fruits, aromatic herbs and spices.
Palate: On the palate is structured, persistent, and typical of White Grenache.
Other: It’s a rich, full bodied white wine.
