Vine Age: Over 100 years old.
Irrigation: No irrigation
Harvest Date: 1st Week of September.
Yield: 2000 – 3000 kg/Ha.


The Villegas vineyard is located within the town of Valtuille and the vines are over 100 years old.
Hand picked, the grapes are fermented in 500 liters open French oak barrels. Following an extended maceration process the wine is aged for a year in used French oak barrels.
800 bottles made.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Dark ruby with purple on the rim.
Nose: Rich, Intense, fresh red berries and minerals.
Palate: Intense, fresh red berries such as strawberries and raspberries, hints of cherry developing.
Other: This wine will aged relatively well, will go well with coq au vin, or any rich flavored dishes.
