Manyetes is a blend of 65% Cariñena, 25% Garnacha,6% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 4% Syrah.
The wine was aged in first fill very fine grained barrels for 18 months and bottled in June 2007.
Through this wine René Barbier shows a wine that is a true reflection of the unique Priorat terroir. It is the expression from the soil and the environment in the bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Intense dark color.
Nose: Rich fruity aromas with notes of herbs and minerals.
Palate: It has a firm structure with a good acidity added to ripe fruity flavors and a remarkable finish.
Other: This is an elegant, robust classic wine from Priorat which can be aged over 20 years. Manyetes is without doubt a food wine and will complement any sauces or red meat dishes.
