2013 Blend


Vineyard: Steep slopes located around the town of Porrera. The Garnacha is from El Menescal - Mas d’en Pubill is 450 meters above sea level with a South exposure, while the Cabernet Sauvignon is from Coma d'en Romeu, 400m alt. South/South-West slope.
Soil Type: Licorella.
Vine Age: Mainly planted in 1995..

This is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Garnacha.
Anjoli was fermented in open vats and aged for 12 months in 225 liters Allier oak barrels before assembling, bottled in March 2015.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep ruby with hints of purple on the rim.
Nose: Rich dark fruits with some spice and cigar box.
Palate: It is medium bodied to rich, with more dark fruits, some spice and licorice.
Other: Anjoli will go well with grilled sausages, oxtail stew, BBQ, slow braised lamb shortribs, Mexican or Southwestern American cuisine.
