Anjoli is a blend of 40% Garnatxa, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 10% Merlot. The wine was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steal tanks before aging for 16 months in French oak barrels.
The wine was bottled 12-15 February 2008 during the waning moon, as it passes behind behind Virgo. Josep believes that bottling at the right time is crucial and that it complements well the structure of the wine and the fruity aromas.
The total production is 12.000 bottles.
Anjoli is the name of the adopted daughter of Rose Galceran, one of the partners of Celler Ardevol.
The actual meaning of Anjoli makes reference to the action of gathering water from the river to wash and refresh the face.
