Vineyard:
Soil Type: Klapmuts, Wasbank, Cartref.
Vine Age: 12 years old.
Irrigation: Drip Method
Harvest Date:
Yield: 8.5 t/ha.

Vinification:

Harvested at 25 balling, handpicked and delicately crushed. Cold soaked through the night. Fermentation was started the next morning, pump overs every 4 hours. Lightly pressed and matured in french oak barrels for 18 months.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep red hues.
Nose: Intense fruity aromas with spice.
Palate: Fresh, with red cherry, black current mixed with some spices and white pepper.
Other: Goes well with rich beef stews, roast duck or any game dishes.
