Viticulture

Vineyard: 3 500 Vines per hectare, fruits selected from different plots on the farm.
Soil Type: Klapmuts, Estcourt, Kroonstad.
Vine Age: 30 years old.
Irrigation: Drip Method
Harvest Date:
Yield: 6t/ha.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand into lug boxes and taken to the cellar to be de-stalked and chilled through a mash cooler directly into the cellar. Only free run juice is used and fermented at cool temperature using a special type of yeast until dry. Slightly oaked, with 15 % Semillon added to bring some depth and freshness.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Bright straw.
Nose: Fruity with ripe tropical fruits and hints of melon and lemongrass.
Palate: Bright and fresh with notes of pineapple, grenadilla and apple.
Other: A very food-friendly wine and great as an aperitif, also pairs well with fragrant salads, Thai food, Sushi or any seafood dishes.
