Viticulture

Vineyard: Vine density 3333 per ha, fruits from selected vineyards.
Soil Type: Klapmuts, Estcourt, Kroonstad.
Vine Age: 28 years old.
Irrigation: Drip Method

Vinification:

Harvested early in the morning, gently pressed and fermented at 12 degrees centigrade in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the clean fruit flavors that are typical of Wildekrans wines.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Light straw.
Nose: Queen pineapples & some hints of apricot on the nose.
Palate: Ripe & fruity flavors combined with a crisp acidity on the palate. The complex aftertaste has a long and pleasing finish that calls for more.
Other: Great with assorted sushi, clam chowder or chicken.
