Vinification:

Les Comtes Rouge was first released in 2007 and was created as a tribute from a son to his father when ownership of the estate was passed on from Henri to his son Pierre.
This is a blend of 70% grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre.
After harvest the juice was fermented at 25-26°Centigrade and the wine matured over 9 months.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep red.
Nose: Intense and complex with red berries and spices.
Palate: In the mouth it is rich and opulent, with red ripe fruits and a good balance of rich fruits combined with spices.
Other: May be enjoyed while young, it will also evolve gracefully over time. Great with grilled meat, as well as medium cheeses such as Cantal and Brebis.
